Phlebotomist
Job Summary
Aids in the technical and clerical aspects of the Laboratory department. Collects, accepts, receives, processes specimens into the Laboratory department(s). Manages pneumatic tube station samples. Performs venipuncture, capillary puncture, and computerized registration of patient samples using Laboratory Information System (LIS). Completes basic quality control steps and reagent/inventory management tasks.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
- High School Graduate / GED
