Phlebotomist

Job Summary

You will help the Laboratory obtain and/or prepare specimens for analysis so they can provide accurate laboratory services vital for outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and emergency department patients.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, obtaining and/or preparing specimens for analysis.
• Use a state-of-the-art wireless handheld computer to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS).
• Previous experience in a health-related field.
• Phlebotomy Cert.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a health-related field.
• Phlebotomy Cert.
