Phlebotomist

About the role

Actalent is urgently hiring for a Mobile Phlebotomist! We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join the team in a mobile capacity! This role would be going into busy patient service centers throughout Long Island!

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws using straight needles for the majority of cases and butterfly needles for difficult sticks.
• Manage pediatric and adult patient blood collection with care and precision.
• Process and handle specimens according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of blood draws and specimen handling.

Requirements

• 3 years of straight needle experience required (experience outside of schooling)
• Infant and pediatric experience

Pay

$25.00 per hour. Mileage reimbursement for over 30 miles a day.

Schedule

Must be available between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday through Friday and rotating Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

Contract to Hire position based out of Westbury, NY. Homebase: Westbury; primary sites: Port Washington, New Hyde Park. Additional sites if needed: Babylon, Brentwood, Patchogue, Bay Shore. Fully onsite.
