Phlebotomist - 30 hrs - Day shift

About the role
Join our Inpatient Lab Team and bring your exceptional talents to a team that makes a real impact—every single day. As a Phlebotomist, you will obtain in-house blood specimens, process laboratory specimens for clinical analysis, and provide patient information to the appropriate caregiver. Your work is vital to the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients.
Responsibilities
- Properly identify patients per policy and perform venipuncture using standard/butterfly methods
- Label all specimens following laboratory policy
- Receive, cancel, order, and process laboratory/microbiology specimens
Schedule
30 hours per week, Day Shift, every other weekend, and rotating holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a phlebotomy program
- National Phlebotomy Certification preferred
- 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred
