Philadelphia – Energy and Infrastructure Midlevel Associate

About the role

We are seeking a mid-level associate with 3–5 years of large law firm experience to join our global energy and infrastructure practice. The position will be based in Philadelphia, and active Pennsylvania Bar membership is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in energy regulatory matters before state public utility commissions or the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, including in:
  • Ratemaking proceedings
  • Commission investigations
  • Complaint proceedings
  • Rulemakings
  • Other commission-initiated policy proceedings
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements supporting energy projects, such as:
  • Power purchase agreements
  • Virtual power purchase agreements
  • Engineering, procurement, and construction agreements

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience at a large law firm
• Experience with energy regulatory matters (required)
• Energy transactional experience (a plus)
• Relevant litigation or administrative law experience (preferred)
• Active Pennsylvania Bar membership
