Energy and Infrastructure Associate

About the role

Hunton seeks an attorney with at least four years of project finance experience to join the Energy and Infrastructure team in a full-time partnership-track associate position in our New York office.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and counsel on project finance matters
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to deliver comprehensive legal services
• Advise on regulatory compliance and risk management strategies
• Prepare and review legal documents and contracts
• Participate in client meetings and presentations

Requirements

• Prior experience at a national or international law firm
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate initiative and potential for leadership
• Judgment and confidence to work independently with clients and colleagues

Qualifications

• New York bar membership preferred, required within one year of joining the firm

Pay

The expected salary range for this position for full-time on-track associates is $310,000 to $435,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education, training, skill sets, licensure and certifications, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
