PhD position(s) in ecohydrology and critical zone science

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a B.S. or M.S. in Ecology, Geography, Geosciences, Engineering, Oceanography, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in interdisciplinary science and combining multiple tools to address research questions related to (but not limited to):
    • Forest management and watershed hydrology
    • Tree physiology and drought responses
    • Linking hillslope hydrology to streamflow dynamics
    • Landscape evolution and carbon cycling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fieldwork experience
  • GIS, remote sensing, or geospatial data analysis
  • Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, R, or related languages
