PHC Specialist
About the role
As a Plant Health Care Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, and treating tree and shrub health issues within a specific territory. A typical day may include inspecting plant material and identifying pests, diseases, or other concerns; selecting and applying the most appropriate treatments to promote plant health; preparing written diagnostic reports and educating clients about their landscape; operating spray and application equipment safely and effectively; and working independently to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who loves problem‑solving, enjoys working outdoors, and takes pride in protecting and enhancing the natural environment.
SavATree was founded 45 years ago with a mission to preserve trees threatened by the gypsy moth epidemic. Since then, we’ve grown into a nationwide leader in tree, shrub, and lawn care services. Unlike companies that focus on removal, our work is rooted in preservation and care. We are a values‑driven organization built on teamwork, integrity, respect, and a relentless commitment to making a positive impact. When you join us, you’ll find a collaborative, competitive, and caring environment where your contributions matter.
