Phase 1 Utility

About the Role

Learning and developing skills in the operation of the distributors that fill the tunnels with compost, and in the operation of forklifts and filling equipment. Forklift Operator training will be provided and is a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Check the compost for moisture and quality before, during, and after flips.
• Clear and clean tunnels in preparation for re-filling.
• Prep straw and hay bales for processing in the mixing line.
• Communicate with the Manager and Supervisors clearly and effectively.

Qualifications

None required beyond the ability to follow direction. Experience is not required but is always a plus.
