Pharmacy Technician, Variable Part Time Rotating Shift, Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver medication according to established policies, procedures, and protocols, under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain accurate inventory of medications and supplies.
• Responsible and accountable for controlled drugs in the pharmacy, for oral and solid prepacking, and refilling automated dispensing units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/equivalent
• Graduation from an ASHP accredited or PTCB recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred.
• Preferred: 1 year of pharmacy experience
• Preferred: Previous experience with Cerner, Pyxis, Pharmogistics, Carousels.
• Required: Licensure as Pharmacy Technician by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Pay

Pay Range: $19.64 - $25.65 per hour. If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Schedule

• Employment Type: Variable Part-time
• Hours per Week: 8 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: One Weekday Shift Required/Wk 7:30am - 4pm or 1:30pm - 10pm as needed
• Shift Type: Rotating shift
• Weekend Requirements: Required One Weekend Shift Required/Month 8am - 4:30pm
• Holiday Requirements: Required Rotation/Follow company holiday calendar
