Pharmacy Technician - Trainee

About the role

As a Pharmacy Technician Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our patients receive a prompt and positive experience at our Pharmacies. You’ll welcome patients and assist them in picking up their pharmacy orders. This role is for someone who is excited by the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and the community, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is a true team player with a customer-focused mindset.

Albertsons will train you to become a pharmacy technician, offering classes from our pharmacy learning and development team, pharmacy computer system training, and hands-on experience with our teams.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the Pharmacy and assist them in picking up orders
• Support pharmacy operations as a team player, helping where needed
• Obtain proper licenses as required by local state regulations
• Engage with customers and fellow associates to create a positive experience
• Contribute to a community-focused environment
