Pharmacy Technician Trainee

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care and building strong patient relationships.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage patients with compassion, addressing their needs in person and via phone.
• Assist pharmacists by processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Use pharmacy computer systems to perform tasks like searching patient profiles, verifying prescription details, and entering invoices.
• Contribute to team efforts to improve outcomes and support company initiatives.
• Complete required training and adhere to all policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA and pseudoephedrine sales.
• Finalize sales, transcribe prescription data, and ensure proper inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with customers, resolve questions, and file prescriptions daily.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to obtain pharmacy technician registration.
• 0 to 6 months of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and be at least 18 years old.
