About the role
As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will be integral to a collaborative team, providing safe, accurate, and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with compassion
- Process prescriptions and orders via various methods
- Assist with inventory management
- Ensure a clean work environment
- Support team members in operational tasks
- Utilize pharmacy computer systems to enhance efficiency
- Help implement company initiatives
- Handle customer inquiries and finalize sales
- Maintain proper documentation of prescriptions
- Comply with all relevant policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Eligible for pharmacy technician registration with the state board
- 0 to 6 months of experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Minimum age of 18 years
