Aquent is partnering with a leading healthcare client at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovation, transforming how prescription medications are dispensed and delivered. This client utilizes cutting-edge robotic technology in centralized environments to ensure efficient and accurate fulfillment, directly impacting patient care and accessibility.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you won’t just be processing orders; you’ll be an integral part of a system that leverages innovative robotics to prepare and distribute essential medications. Your work will ensure precision, speed, and reliability, directly enhancing the lives of countless individuals by getting them the medications they need, faster and more accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Order Processing: Process new patient registrations, manage refill requests, accurately interpret medical abbreviations, and resolve data entry discrepancies.
  • Fulfillment Operations: Operate automated machinery, meticulously sort medications, count and fill prescriptions, apply labels, and prepare orders for packing and shipping, all while upholding stringent quality control standards.
  • Insurance & Third-Party Claims: Address and resolve rejected insurance claims by reviewing, correcting, and resubmitting information in accordance with plan requirements.
  • Maintenance & Collaboration: Provide support to on-site and remote pharmacists, escalate complex issues to senior staff, and contribute to the cleaning and maintenance of machinery to ensure an organized and efficient workspace.

Requirements

  • Must hold an active pharmacy technician license.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Language: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Typing Skills: Intermediate keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing).
  • Technical Skills: Basic PC and web browser skills (navigating programs, online forms, and search engines).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to push, pull, grasp, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Schedule: Willingness to work a flexible shift.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Active pharmacy technician certification.
  • At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail, fulfillment, or call center environment.
  • Prior customer service or healthcare platform experience.

Schedule

Available schedules include Sunday-Tuesday, and Friday, 3:30 pm-1:30 am, Sunday-Wednesday, 3:30 pm-1:30 am, and Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 pm-6:00 am.

Pay

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $18.38 to $20.42 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
