About the role
The Pharmacy Technician will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing.

Requirements
This position does not have regularly scheduled hours and will cover shifts as needed to cover sick time, PTO and call outs.

Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is the only locally-owned, regional community healthcare system in Lake Charles. Lake Charles Memorial Health System consists of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, a 314-bed acute care facility at our main campus on Oak Park Boulevard; Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for Women, a 38-bed women's health services facility at Gauthier and Nelson Roads, Moss Memorial Health Clinic on Walters Road for populations in need of primary and specialty care, Archer Institute, our 42-bed behavioral health hospital on Nelson Road; the Memorial Medical Group, our affiliate physician group comprised of over 100 specialists and Memorial/LSUHSC Family Medicine Residency Program which trains primary care physicians.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Louisiana state Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Recent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Proficiency with pharmacy software

Pay
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.
Schedule
This position does not have regularly scheduled hours and will cover shifts as needed to cover sick time, PTO and call outs.
