About the role
Make a meaningful impact in patient care every day. As an Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacists and enhancing the patient experience across the continuum of care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate appointments
- Gather and accurately document patient information
- Conduct interviews with patients, families, caregivers, pharmacies, and medical providers
- Support prior authorization processes
- Administer vaccines within your scope at the practice site
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Upon hire: Alaska Pharmacy Technician License
- Within 2 years of hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification (if applicable)
- 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience if PTCB or 2 years Pharmacy Technician experience if without National Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework/Training: Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians)
- 1 year Customer Service experience
