Pharmacy Technician - Pediatric Subspecialty

Make a meaningful impact in patient care every day. As an Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacists and enhancing the patient experience across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments
• Gather and accurately document patient information
• Conduct interviews with patients, families, caregivers, pharmacies, and medical providers
• Support prior authorization processes
• Administer vaccines within your scope at the practice site

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Upon hire: Alaska Pharmacy Technician License
• Within 2 years of hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification (if applicable)
• 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience if PTCB or 2 years Pharmacy Technician experience if without National Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians)
• 1 year Customer Service experience
