Pharmacy Technician - Part-Time

About the role

The Pharmacy Technician II supports pharmacy operations by accurately filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications to nursing and ancillary departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare oral and IV medications
• Triage patient medication orders
• Maintain the automated dispensing system (ADS) integrity
• Support pharmacy operations within a healthcare setting

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Oregon Pharmacy Technician License or Certification
• At least one year of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with current PTCB certification, or two years in hospital pharmacy

Skills

• Preferred: Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program
• Preferred: Specialty certifications
• Preferred: Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)
