About the role
The Pharmacy Technician at St. Luke's plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding, patient-focused care. The Cancer Institute Pharmacy Techs prepare oncology medications in a clean room environment, manage medication purchasing, and ensure the Pharmacy is thoroughly cleaned, organized, and well-stocked. Infusion Center Pharmacy Techs support patient care by assisting patients as they enter and exit the clinic, obtaining vital signs, and preparing IV medications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare oncology medications in a clean room environment
- Manage medication purchasing
- Ensure the Pharmacy is thoroughly cleaned, organized, and well-stocked
- Support patient care by assisting patients as they enter and exit the clinic
- Obtain vital signs and prepare IV medications
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Idaho pharmacy technician license
- Two (2) + years' experience preferred
- CPhT preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Idaho pharmacy technician license
