About the role

The Pharmacy Technician at St. Luke's plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding, patient-focused care. The Cancer Institute Pharmacy Techs prepare oncology medications in a clean room environment, manage medication purchasing, and ensure the Pharmacy is thoroughly cleaned, organized, and well-stocked. Infusion Center Pharmacy Techs support patient care by assisting patients as they enter and exit the clinic, obtaining vital signs, and preparing IV medications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare oncology medications in a clean room environment
• Manage medication purchasing
• Ensure the Pharmacy is thoroughly cleaned, organized, and well-stocked
• Support patient care by assisting patients as they enter and exit the clinic
• Obtain vital signs and prepare IV medications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Idaho pharmacy technician license
• Two (2) + years' experience preferred
• CPhT preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Idaho pharmacy technician license
