Pharmacy Technician, IV Admix, Baptist Clay

We are seeking a Registered IV Admix Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Baptist Medical Center Clay. This is a full-time position with various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare compounded sterile medications using aseptic techniques within an IV Room.
- Refill automated dispensing cabinets.
- Assist in the central pharmacy.
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and maintaining patient records.
- Maintain compliance with USP 797 standards in daily duties for IV admixture and TPN preparation.
Requirements
- Pharmacy-based hospital experience.
- At least 6 months of experience within an IV Room.
- Licensed and registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida.
- 1-2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (Required).
- Registered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy (Required).
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) (Preferred).
Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. This position will be located at Baptist Clay.
Schedule
Full-time, various shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
