Pharmacy Technician, IV Admix, Baptist Beaches

The Registered IV Admix Pharmacy Technician position is located at Baptist Medical Center Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL, and is a full‑time role working various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist on duty.
• Compound IV admixtures.
• Fill automated dispensing cabinets (Omnicell) and unit‑dose medication orders and envelopes.
• Perform basic reconstitution of oral suspensions.
• Package medications.
• Deliver medications to different floors.
• Spend 3‑4 hours in the IV room preparing sterile compounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) with the Florida Board of Pharmacy (required).
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) preferred.
• PTCB certification is a plus but not required.
• 1‑2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Hospital and IV room experience required.
