About the role
Scripps Health is a respected healthcare organization with five outpatient infusion centers providing chemotherapy services. This position is located at the Encinitas center and involves working 10-hour days, primarily Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Inventory management
- Pump compounding
- Investigational drug compounding
- Supporting central prior authorization
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current California Pharmacy Technician License
- Certification by a National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in current practice environment or in sterile compounding
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a pharmacy technician in any practice setting
Qualifications
- Preferred 2 years' experience in relevant practice area
