Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by treating customers/employees fairly and ethically, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and acting responsibly within the community.
- Offer health and wellness services and experiences relevant to patients, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
- Directly intervene in patient care, adhering to company core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
- Handle confidential information with care and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper product preparation and dispensing.
- Communicate effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other staff members, and assist in billing and data entry processes.
- Support company health and wellness initiatives and promote a positive work environment.
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful setting, managing conflicts and maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Age 18 or older
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
- Meet minimum state requirements for the position
Desired
- Previous comparable experience
- EPRN familiarity
- Experience with computerized inventory management
- Understanding of health insurance portability and accountability act (HIPAA) regulations
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal health codes
- Ability to work cooperatively and manage conflict
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
