About the role
The Pharmacy Technician II position at St Joseph Medical Center plays a crucial role in the pharmacy department. You will be responsible for preparing, distributing, and delivering medications, performing clerical tasks, maintaining medication and supply stock levels, operating automated systems, participating in quality assurance programs, and managing inventory.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, distributes, and delivers medications in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support department operations.
- Maintains proper medication and supply stock levels.
- Operates and maintains automated medication delivery systems and devices.
- Participates in department quality assurance programs and maintains appropriate documentation.
- Trained and certified in IV admixture preparation, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or High School GED.
- 6 months of compounding IV medication experience.
- Current Pharmacy Technician license in Washington State.
Qualifications
A strong understanding of pharmaceutical terminology, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. A proactive approach, commitment to accuracy, and a willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment are also required.

Pay
The posted compensation range for this position is $26.12 - $43.90 per hour, reflecting the lowest and highest pay CommonSpirit Health believes it might pay for this role, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit Health may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday - Sunday, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM, with varying shifts.
