About the role

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician for our Inpatient Pharmacy and play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with a variety of technician duties related to the preparation and distribution of medications.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with the preparation and distribution of medications
• Handle inventory management and restocking of medication supplies
• Support the accurate dispensing of medications according to physician orders and patient needs
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding medication handling and storage

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in a pharmacy setting preferred

• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills

Skills

• Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and drug interactions
• Proficiency in using pharmacy-related software and equipment
