Role Overview
- Prepare, distribute, and store medications
- Assist with IV admixtures and chemotherapy preparations
- Utilize automated and computerized dispensing systems
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Once trained, teach and mentor other technicians
- Support administrative and operational pharmacy functions

Licensure & Certification
- Active Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy licensure (Pharmacy Technician)
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (current)
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma (minimum age 18)
- Minimum 1,000 hours as a Pharmacy Technician
- 2+ years of hospital or related pharmacy experience preferred (Exceptional aptitude may be considered in lieu of experience)
Schedule Highlights
- Weekday shifts starting at 6:00 a.m. or 7:00 a.m.
- Rare evening coverage during vacation periods
- Participation in on-call overnight rotation
- Weekend rotation approximately every three weeks
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work across multiple locations
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required
Pay Range
The pay range listed for this position is $24.50 – $32.97 per hour.
