Pharmacy Technician I, Certified, Pharmacy, Per Diem, Day

About the Role

To assist the pharmacist in pharmaceutical preparation, distribution, and record keeping functions of pharmaceutical supplies and perform a variety of technical pharmacy services in the Department, designated satellites, and service and patient care areas.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• College courses preferred
• Two to three years pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Must possess or be eligible for pharmacy technician registration
• Pharmacy technician certification required
• Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods
• Ability to work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staff
• Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule
• Ability to set priorities and solve problems
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency requests
• Effective communication skills (orally and in writing)
• Ability to assist in meeting the pharmaceutical care needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Pay Range: $22.99 - $28.74 per hour
