Pharmacy Technician I-Cert / Pharmacy General

About the role

The Hartford HealthCare Community Pharmacy (HHCCP), located on the campus of Hartford Hospital, serves diverse patient populations through its high-service community pharmacy model. It provides free delivery to patients within the Hartford area and specializes in filling and servicing specialty medications. HHCCP collaborates with clinics such as transplant, oncology, hepatitis, and infectious disease to offer exceptional care and service.

Responsibilities

• Processing and filling prescriptions accurately
• Assisting customers in the Emergency Department
• Collaborating with specialty pharmacy liaisons to meet the needs of specialty patients

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Pharmacy Technician program preferred
• Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
• Patient registration with Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection within 30 days of hire and by March 31st of each year
