About the role
We are seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician responsible for order entry and supporting medication dispensing at a closed-door pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Triaging customer service requests
- Verifying correct dosages
- Reviewing narcotic prescriptions
- Providing information on allergies, drug interactions, and duplications
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Collaborating with pharmacists
- Ensuring accuracy in medication processing
Qualifications
- Certification, license, or registration as a pharmacy technician per state law
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred skills
- Experience in long-term care
- PTCB certification
