Responsibilities
- Triage of incoming phone calls from nursing facilities
- Processing of verbal requests for medication
- Providing status or confirmation of medication delivery
- Troubleshooting
- Outgoing clarifications of medication orders and patient demographic data
- Cordination of incoming Medication Orders both via fax and by electronic interface
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Must be a registered pharmacy technician in the applicable state
- Previous Customer Service Experience (preferred)
- Previous long-term care, retail pharmacy, or hospital pharmacy experience (preferred)
- Moderate to advanced computer skills
- Framework/DocuTrack knowledge (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator
- Quick and independent learner
- Ability to work independently in a team environment
- Availability to work during inclement weather
- Availability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed
Pay
Min: USD $15.50/Hr.
