Role Overview
Performs essential duties of a pharmacy technician, including filling physician orders, assisting patients, and providing customer service, under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Has advanced knowledge in specialty pharmacy areas, with certifications such as immunization or MTM.
Responsibilities
- Accurately fill medication orders and ensure proper documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
- Provide specialized services in designated pharmacy areas
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- Montana Pharmacy Technician License, Temporary Practice Permit, or Provisional License upon hire
- At least 1 year of pharmacy practice experience and customer service
- Competence in all responsibilities of an Associate Pharmacy Technician for internal candidates
- Preferred: Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program
