Role Summary
Job Activities and Responsibilities
- Compounding sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations under the supervision of the compounding pharmacist
- Performing fulfillment of data entry and prescription processing
- Assisting and supporting laboratory technicians in prescription compounding and fulfillment activities
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensed by the State as a Registered Pharmacy Technician
- At least 3 years of pharmacy experience
- Ability to navigate basic computer operating systems
Physical Requirements
- Proficient in using a computer and related equipment, including printers and fax machines
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Effective communication skills via telephone and email
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds as needed
- 20/20 vision (with or without corrective aids) required for visual inspection of drug products, in accordance with legal requirements
