Pharmacy Technician-Correction Health Services
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, maintaining, and organizing unit dose cubies for our automated dispensing cabinets (Pyxis) and canisters for our pharmacy filling machine/robot (DOSIS)
- Entering/typing prescriptions in our pharmacy software
- Filling prescriptions manually
- Receiving and verifying delivery of daily orders from wholesalers
- Preparing and mailing prescriptions to patients at alternative locations, cleaning equipment and work areas
- Cleaning, sterilizing, and/or disinfecting areas and/or equipment
- Training new pharmacy staff
Qualifications
- Must be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician
- Must be able to pass a fingerprinting background check and drug screening
- Excellent interpersonal skills
