Responsibilities
- Deliver medications to patient floors
- Stock the Omnicell dispensing cabinet
- Auxiliary duties within the central pharmacy
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications
- Maintain the drug inventory
- Maintain patient records
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) - Board of Pharmacy License in Florida
Qualifications
This is an entry-level position designed to provide hands-on experience in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in pharmacy technology and a genuine interest in patient care.
Skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency with computer systems, particularly those used in pharmacies, is also important.
Pay
The pay for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time, day shift position, working 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with every other weekend coverage.
