Pharmacy Technician (AZ, Youngtown)

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and orders as written in accordance with SOPs and Work Instructions
• Verify details of the order are correct prior to final pharmacist verification
• Label, assemble, package and ship products to customers
• Clean and maintain the pharmacy workspace
• Absorb inventory management
• Absorb interdepartmental communication
• Absorb other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• PTCB certification is required
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to identify problems and work to resolve issues
• Must be able to read, understand SOPs and all guidelines as they relate to the process
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and ability to utilize various software programs
• Ability to use necessary equipment such as computers, scanners, or other technological devices assigned
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Experience working in a customer service environment is a plus
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals including cleaning agents and disinfectants
