Pharmacy Technician
Description
The Pharmacy hours are 8AM - 8PM and Saturday/Sunday: 8AM-4:30PM. Weekends and Holidays on rotating.
What You Will Need
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred associate or bachelor’s degree
- State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license as a Temporary Licensure upon hire
- Achieve Pharmacy Technician Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 5 months of hire
- Minimum six months of pharmacy work experience
What You Will Do
- Packages and distributes medication orders per physician/pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment
- Completes ASHP didactic learning modules as assigned
- Achieves a passing score on all quizzes and tests related to ASHP didactic learning
- Completes all experiential learning activities as assigned
- Provides customer service to medical professionals
