Pharmacy Technician

Overview

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to join their growing team at their Pharmacy located in Woodrige, IL.

Position Details

• Saturday and Sunday: 7:00pm to 2:00am
• 100% on-site

Responsibilities

• Provide basic supervision of department including adherence to Symbria Rx Services policies and procedures.
• Aid the department supervisor in ensuring the department meets all standards of practice to comply with necessary state and federal regulations.
• Participate in the corrective action process as needed in partnership with management and/or Human Resources.
• Communicate timely with department supervisor regarding obstacles in the workflow to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist in the training program of all new Production Pharmacy Technicians, ensuring they receive appropriate instruction and guidance according to department and company policies and procedures.
• Track quality measures including accurate dispensing and productivity standards.
• Work collaboratively with department supervisor to further develop leadership skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Knowledge of business English, spelling, and commercial arithmetic with ability to write in a clear and legible manner.
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions.
• General computer knowledge including Windows applications.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications Preferred

• Pharmacy experience; minimum one year.
