About the role
The Forensic Services on the campus of the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Preparing medications and supplies for the Forensic Mental Health Program, the Forensic Nursing Home and the Community Behavioral Health Hospitals under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Unit dosing medications.
- Stocking and maintaining Automated Dispensing Machines (ADM) per pharmacy procedures.
- Reviewing medication reconciliation reports and entering medication data into the electronic health record while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Providing support for nursing through phone, email, and Teams communication.
- Reviewing reports for expired medications.
- Filing monthly dispensing reports.
- Completing monthly medication room checks.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Registered with the Board of Pharmacy.
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician certification educational program, OR at least one (1) year of pharmacy technician experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess current national certification as pharmacy technician.
- Experience using an Omnicell and/or a carousel.
- Experience working with multiple software programs including Microsoft Excel.

Pay
$21.73 - $27.72 / hourly; $45,372 - $57,879 / annually

Day Shift: Monday - Friday
