About the role

The Forensic Services on the campus of the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing medications and supplies for the Forensic Mental Health Program, the Forensic Nursing Home and the Community Behavioral Health Hospitals under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Unit dosing medications.
  • Stocking and maintaining Automated Dispensing Machines (ADM) per pharmacy procedures.
  • Reviewing medication reconciliation reports and entering medication data into the electronic health record while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Providing support for nursing through phone, email, and Teams communication.
  • Reviewing reports for expired medications.
  • Filing monthly dispensing reports.
  • Completing monthly medication room checks.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Registered with the Board of Pharmacy.
  • Completion of a Pharmacy Technician certification educational program, OR at least one (1) year of pharmacy technician experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess current national certification as pharmacy technician.
  • Experience using an Omnicell and/or a carousel.
  • Experience working with multiple software programs including Microsoft Excel.

Pay

$21.73 - $27.72 / hourly; $45,372 - $57,879 / annually

Schedule

Day Shift: Monday - Friday
