Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by treating customers/employees fairly and ethically, ensuring a safe and clean environment, and acting responsibly in the community.
• Offer health and wellness services relevant to patients, within legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to the company's mission of feeding the human spirit by fostering a supportive and innovative workplace culture.
• Handle confidential information with care and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, and report any unsafe conditions.
• Manage inventory, order products from wholesalers, and maintain departmental standards.
• Operate cash registers, accept payments, and complete billing procedures accurately.
• Communicate effectively with customers, triage calls, and assist pharmacists in their responsibilities.
• Support company health and wellness initiatives and promote a positive work environment.
• Perform tasks such as legend order management and interacting with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Confidentiality of information
• State-specific requirements for the position

Desired

• Previous comparable experience
• EPRN familiarity
• Understanding of computerized inventory management
• Knowledge of health insurance portability and accountability act (HIPAA)
