Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient intervention by offering health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient, within legal and regulatory constraints.
• Handle highly confidential information with care and professionalism.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, reporting any illegal activities.
• Follow company guidelines on computerized inventory management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in ordering medications, devices, supplements, and supplies.
• Manage conflict in a non-confrontational manner, working cooperatively in high-paced environments.
• Support company health and wellness initiatives and assist pharmacists in their responsibilities.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Confidentiality and compliance with regulations
• Understanding and following company guidelines on inventory management and computer systems
• Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist customers and colleagues

Qualifications

• Desired prior experience as a pharmacy clerk
• Familiarity with EPRN (Electronic Prescription Record Network)
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage conflict and maintain confidentiality
