Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient intervention by offering health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient, within legal and regulatory constraints.
- Handle highly confidential information with care and professionalism.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, reporting any illegal activities.
- Follow company guidelines on computerized inventory management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in ordering medications, devices, supplements, and supplies.
- Manage conflict in a non-confrontational manner, working cooperatively in high-paced environments.
- Support company health and wellness initiatives and assist pharmacists in their responsibilities.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Age 18 or older
- Confidentiality and compliance with regulations
- Understanding and following company guidelines on inventory management and computer systems
- Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist customers and colleagues
Qualifications
- Desired prior experience as a pharmacy clerk
- Familiarity with EPRN (Electronic Prescription Record Network)
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage conflict and maintain confidentiality
