Pharmacy Technician

About the role

The Credena Health Pharmacy Technician 2 fills and dispenses medications to patients' homes or facilities in a prompt and accurate manner. This role requires advanced knowledge and skills in two or more specialty areas in pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescriptions accurately and according to pharmacy standards.
• Ensures medications are delivered to patients in a timely manner.
• Collaborates with healthcare providers to ensure medication compatibility and appropriateness.
• Monitors inventory levels and orders refills as needed.
• May assist with training and mentoring new pharmacy technicians.

Requirements

• Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license.
• One year (2080 clock hours) of pharmacy technician experience.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
• In compliance with the Providence Health and Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Program.
• Experience with inpatient, long-term care, or specialty pharmacy.
• Experience with Pyxis CII Safe.

Skills

• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in computer systems used in pharmacy operations.

Pay

$23.81 - $36.44 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
