About the role
The Credena Health Pharmacy Technician 2 fills and dispenses medications to patients' homes or facilities in a prompt and accurate manner. This role requires advanced knowledge and skills in two or more specialty areas in pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Fills prescriptions accurately and according to pharmacy standards.
- Ensures medications are delivered to patients in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with healthcare providers to ensure medication compatibility and appropriateness.
- Monitors inventory levels and orders refills as needed.
- May assist with training and mentoring new pharmacy technicians.
Requirements
- Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license.
- One year (2080 clock hours) of pharmacy technician experience.
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
- In compliance with the Providence Health and Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Program.
- Experience with inpatient, long-term care, or specialty pharmacy.
- Experience with Pyxis CII Safe.
Skills
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer systems used in pharmacy operations.

Pay
$23.81 - $36.44 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
