Pharmacy Technician

About the role

We're looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Montana State Hospital. This role supports multiple facilities and processes physician orders, prepares medications, and interacts with patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and distribute medications across campus to Touchpoint ADCs
• Order entry of prescriptions into QS/1 PrimeCare System
• Delivery of medications to facilities
• Charge capture, returns/credits, IV preparation, refill emergency kits and crash carts
• Barcode, prepack, answer the telephone, and troubleshoot
• Drive an automobile to make purchases or assist with pick-up and delivery of supplies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• State of Montana Pharmacy Technician license in good standing and being certified (or a Provisional Pharmacy Technician that is licensed but not yet certified)
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician including some billing responsibilities desired but willing to train
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to successfully pass MVR check

Qualifications

Pay and Schedule

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. The weekly schedule will be varied week to week either working 9:30am-6:00pm or 10:30am-9:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a rotating weekend schedule.
