Pharmacy Technician

About the role

The primary responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician at Genoa Healthcare include providing exceptional customer service, filling prescription orders, ordering and receiving pharmacy supplies, verifying medication stock, and communicating with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeps the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio
• Ability to work onsite at 701 Brooksedge Plaza Dr. Westerville, OH, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
• Access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio
• Preferred qualifications include National Pharmacy Technician Certification and Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
