Pharmacy Technician

A Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You will create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for your patients. You will also have the opportunity to promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law).

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and other pharmacy staff in providing patient care
• Create and maintain accurate medication records
• Prepare medications according to prescription orders
• Assist patients with filling out paperwork and answering questions about their medications
• Handle cash transactions and manage inventory
• Provide immunizations (where allowed by law)

Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements)
• Fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college coursework in pharmacy technology or related field preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Basic computer skills
