Pharmacy Technician
About the role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be a member of a team supporting our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for patients and make the pharmacy a great place for friends, family, and neighbors to get their prescriptions. Through proper training and mentoring you will have the opportunity to promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law) to help keep patients safe in the communities we serve. Whether you’re looking for your first part-time job, returning to work after some time off, or want a full-time career, our company has opportunities waiting for you. Albertsons will train you to become a pharmacy technician offering classes from our pharmacy learning and development team, pharmacy computer system training, and hands-on training with our teams.
Responsibilities
- Support pharmacy operations and pharmacists
- Create a positive, friendly pharmacy experience for patients
- Assist with prescription processing and fulfillment
- Provide immunizations where allowed by law (after proper training)
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs

- Have or be willing to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements)
