Pharmacy Technician
Location: Jerry's Foods Hudson
About the role
This position is part-time and union classified, with a progressive scale starting at $23.55 per hour based on experience. Hours are Sunday through Saturday, with varied schedules.
Responsibilities
- Make lasting connections with our customers
- Stock, assemble, and distribute medications quickly and efficiently
- Protect customer and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
- Maintain records by recording and filing physician’s orders and prescriptions
- Train as a cashier (accuracy in registers is important)
- Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
- Be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled
Requirements
- High School Degree or GED required
- Must be 18 years or older
- Willingness to make lasting connections with customers
- Experience working in a pharmacy department (2-3 years preferred)
- Knowledge of maintaining customer confidentiality and removing outdated drugs
- Desire to grow career and continue learning
