Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, mixing, assembling, and packaging medications.
• Ensure accurate labeling and proper documentation of all drugs and devices.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy storage and safety regulations.
• Organize and update records to ensure proper tracking of medications.
• Support daily operations to improve efficiency and patient care.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate a high level of detail orientation.
• Ability to handle highly confidential, sensitive information with professionalism, tact, discretion, and integrity.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is required.

Qualifications

• A certification or provisional certification from the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy is required. The provisional certification allows 18 months for the Pharmacy Technician to obtain certification by a board-approved, nationally-recognized organization that certifies pharmacy technicians.
