Job Purpose and Summary
We help our customers and patients navigate the health care system by improving access, lowering costs, and being a trusted partner. Pharmacy Technicians play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy teams to consistently deliver on our brand promise.
Responsibilities
- Follow company SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health
- Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
- Create heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
- Show empathy and genuine care by offering immunizations and other services at the register and over the phone
- Demonstrate compassionate care by solving or escalating patient problems
- Complete basic inventory activities, as permitted by law, and as directed by the pharmacy leadership team
- Contribute to a high-performing team, embrace a growth mindset, and be receptive to feedback
- Voluntarily travel to stores in the market to work shifts as needed by the business
- Support immunizations, including completing additional licensure and training requirements, educating patients about the importance of vaccines, and monitoring for adverse reactions
Requirements
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
- Must satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines
Qualifications
- Must have 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Preferred previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Must be able to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 - $24.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
