Pharmacy Technician

Job Purpose and Summary

We help people navigate the health care system and their personal health care by improving access, lowering costs, and being a trusted partner for every meaningful moment of health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within your store.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health
• Support the pharmacy team in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Show empathy and genuine care to create heartfelt and personalized moments for patients
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by assisting with immunizations and other services
• Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
• Support additional patient health care services, including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and volunteering at offsite clinics
• Comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical principles
• Support immunizations by obtaining necessary training and certification, educating patients, monitoring adverse reactions, and managing vaccine supplies

Requirements

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• Must have state-level licensure and national certification requirements

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred
• Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs

The typical pay range for this role is $20.00 - $30.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
