Job Purpose and Summary
We help our customers and patients navigate the health care system by improving access, lowering costs, and being a trusted partner. Pharmacy Technicians play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy teams to consistently deliver on our brand promise.
Responsibilities
- Follow company SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health
- Support pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
- Show empathy and genuine care by creating heartfelt and personalized moments, offering immunizations, and demonstrating compassionate care
- Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law and as directed by pharmacy leadership
- Contribute to a high-performing team, embrace a growth mindset, and seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge
- Be flexible for both scheduling and business needs, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic
- Support immunizations, including obtaining Technician Immunizer status, educating patients, monitoring adverse reactions, and managing vaccine supplies
Requirements
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
- Must have state-level licensure and national certification requirements, which vary by state
Qualifications
- Must have 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred
- Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $17.15 - $27.15. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
