Pharmacy Technician

Job Purpose and Summary

We help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health by following company SOPs at each workstation. You'll support the pharmacy team in fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately, providing compassionate care, and contributing to a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation
• Support the pharmacy team in fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately
• Show empathy and provide personalized care to patients
• Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
• Support immunizations and other patient health care services, where allowable by law and supported by required training and certification
• Monitor for and respond to adverse reactions, report events, and manage vaccine supplies
• Support the team in remaining flexible for both scheduling and business needs
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic
• Support additional patient health care services as allowed by law and required training
• Support immunizations, including completing additional licensure and training requirements, educating patients, monitoring for adverse reactions, and managing vaccine supplies

Requirements

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• Must satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines until completion of training

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Must have previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Must be able to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs

Pay and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $18.94 - $28.94. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with all federal, state and local laws.
